The biggest story coming out of Britain, by far, is the hugely important Scottish independence vote in less than 24 hours and it couldn’t be closer. Most polls are split 51% for NO to independence and 49% for YES – but the margin of error means EITHER side could win.
Another huge problem is the possibility that the polls may be widely inaccurate, with some pundits saying it will be much more clear cut than expected. Why? Some are scared to fully disclose who they will be voting for when asked, but have a firm choice when it comes to the polling booths. It could be a landslide for Yes or No.
To people outside Britain, this may all seem very confusing, so I constructed a really detailed list of the top 10 reasons Scotland should stay and 10 reasons they should become independent.
But then I caught Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and his piece on Scottish Independence and to be honest, it was a lot more interesting and amusing.
