Competition watch: Win a trip to London

I’m always on the lookout for competitions to win free trips to England. No doubt that the cost of international travel can be quite expensive, especially with the exchange rate. I’m lucky I have family in both the north and south of England. Otherwise my yearly trips to England would be impossible. That and the airmiles I’ve accumulated over the years on US Airways. May I just say at this point how much I love US Airways. This isn’t a pitiful attempt to get 50,000 free airmiles in my account 40064676451 so I can travel this summer. Ahem.

Anyway – here is a cracking competition from Visit London where you can win a dream trip to London for two. Visit London is the official visitor guide to the city so your information is safe.

They are offering:

  • Round trip travel
  • A five night stay at a Radisson Blu Edwardian London hotel
  • Your three favourite London story prizes
  • Two Visitor Oyster cards for travel on the London public transport network
  • Free entry for two to over 60 top London attractions with The London Pass

Ends 30th June 2014

Blimey! is your daily dose of British news and features for anglophiles everywhere. This article was carefully written by Tim Holt, a British actor and author based in North Carolina. He misses England very much indeed, but also loves America too. Forever torn between two magnificent slices of sod.
